Weather and Dress

One of Orlando's biggest attractions is its year round mild weather. At the heart of the "Sunshine State," the area's average annual temperature is a comfortable 72.4 degrees. Orlando's October climate averages highs of 84°F and lows of 65.8°F. While October sees an average of 2.42" of precipitation, the weather has 56% humidity.

For each day's educational programming, business casual is the norm for men and women.

For Sunday's Welcome reception, come dressed in Resort Casual. (For "Resort Casual" think a Tommy Bahama shirt with long pants or 'country club' type clothing. For men: nice slacks, polo shirts, button down shirts, nice shoes or sandals. For women: nice pants, skorts, skirts, nice top, casual dress, sundress, nice sandals or casual shoes. The length of the skirt or dress is knee length or longer.)

For Wednesday's reception and dinner, black tie is preferred but business attire is appropriate. Those participating in the tours may want to dress casually and wear comfortable shoes. Remember, meeting room temperatures and personal comfort zones vary widely. It is recommended that you bring a sweater or jacket to the sessions.
