Getting to Orlando
LES 2008 Annual Meeting attendees arriving in Orlando via airplane should fly into Orlando International Airport.
Amtrak also serves Orlando with two daily trains originating from New York and Miami with stops in downtown Orlando, Winter Park, Sanford and Kissimmee, as well as with a triweekly train originating from Los Angeles.
Getting to Gaylord Palms from the Airport
It takes approximately 30 minutes to get to the Gaylord Palms from Orlando International Airport. The Gaylord Palms does not have a dedicated shuttle that runs to/from the Orlando International Airport. These are other options:
Shuttle Buses
Shuttle bus service to/from the airport and Gaylord Palms Hotel can be arranged through Mears Transportation Group 407-423-5566. Approximate fare from the Airport to International Drive is $17 one way / $28 round trip.
Car Rental
Hertz does offer rental car pick up from the Gaylord Palms Resort.

Taxi
Taxis are available at the Orlando International Airport on both the A and B sides of the Main Terminal, on the Ground Transportation Level (Level) 1. Taxis may carry up to 9 passengers, and charge the same rate regardless of the number of passengers. Metered rate may vary but is approximately $33-$39 per trip, one way.
